Haven’t been scuba diving in a year or two? PADI ReActivate is designed to help certified divers refresh their knowledge, review essential skills and return to the ocean with greater confidence.

With Divers Cove, your ReActivate experience goes beyond reviewing skills in a swimming pool. After completing your PADI ReActivate eLearning at home, you’ll join a PADI Instructor for two ocean boat dives in South Florida.

You’ll review the skills and procedures you already learned during your original scuba certification while getting reacquainted with equipment, buoyancy, dive planning and real-world ocean diving.

Is PADI ReActivate Right for You?

Our PADI ReActivate scuba refresher is designed specifically for certified divers who have been out of the water for approximately 1–2 years but still remember their foundational scuba skills.

You should still be comfortable with the fundamentals of scuba diving, including:

• Assembling scuba equipment
• Clearing your mask
• Recovering and clearing your regulator
• Basic buoyancy control
• Equalization
• Buddy procedures
• Basic dive planning and safety procedures

ReActivate is a refresher—not a replacement for your original scuba training.

Start at Home With PADI ReActivate eLearning

Your refresher begins before you arrive at the dive boat.

You’ll complete PADI ReActivate eLearning, which allows you to review important scuba concepts at your own pace.

The knowledge review helps refresh topics including dive planning, equipment, underwater procedures and diving safety before you return to the water.

Your PADI ReActivate eLearning is included in the $299 course price.

Return to Diving With 2 Ocean Boat Dives

Once you’ve completed your eLearning, it’s time to get back underwater.

Rather than limiting your refresher to a swimming pool, Divers Cove’s ReActivate program includes two ocean boat dives with a PADI Instructor.

You’ll have the opportunity to review essential skills while rebuilding your comfort with:

• Setting up and checking scuba equipment
• Pre-dive safety procedures
• Descents and ascents
• Buoyancy and trim
• Mask and regulator skills
• Dive computer use
• Buddy awareness
• Underwater communication
• Safe diving procedures

The objective isn’t simply to check off skills. We want you to become comfortable diving again in the environment where you’ll actually be using them.

Don’t own equipment anymore? That’s okay.

Your $299 ReActivate program includes the scuba equipment you’ll need for your refresher dives:

What Should You Take After ReActivate?

Once you’re actively diving again, ReActivate can be the beginning of your next stage as a diver.

Depending on your current certification and goals, consider:

PADI Enriched Air Nitrox – learn to safely use Enriched Air Nitrox for recreational diving and repetitive dive days.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver – build experience through five Adventure Dives and develop skills including deep diving and underwater navigation.

PADI Rescue Diver – develop greater awareness, problem-solving skills and the ability to assist other divers.
