Our Mission

Divers Cove Reef Collective unites passionate certified divers from South Florida in a shared commitment to protecting and restoring our marine ecosystems. Through collaborative monthly ocean cleanups, hands-on coral surveying and restoration projects, and systematic fish population monitoring, we serve as underwater stewards for the reefs and dive sites that define our coastal community. Our mission is to blend diving passion with scientific conservation action, working collectively to ensure that every dive contributes to healthier reefs, cleaner waters, and thriving marine biodiversity. We are dedicated to preserving and enhancing the vibrant underwater ecosystems we love to explore, creating measurable impact for future generations of divers and ocean lovers.

  • What We Do

  • Monthly Ocean Cleanups

  • Join fellow divers in removing marine debris from South Florida's dive sites. Every cleanup dive makes a visible difference in ocean health while contributing to global marine pollution data.

  • Coral Restoration Projects

  • Participate in hands-on coral restoration efforts, from coral nursery maintenance to outplanting healthy corals on degraded reefs. Help rebuild the foundation of our marine ecosystems.

  • Coral Bleaching Surveys

  • Monitor reef health through systematic coral bleaching assessments, contributing vital data to climate change research and reef management efforts.

  • Fish Population Monitoring

  • Conduct standardized fish surveys using REEF protocols, tracking marine biodiversity and population trends across South Florida dive sites.

  • Scientific Research Support

  • Contribute to ongoing marine research projects, providing citizen science data that informs conservation policy and reef management decisions.
