For Natalee van Staden, scuba diving has always been about much more than exploring the underwater world. It's about bringing people together, building confidence, creating lifelong friendships, and inspiring a love for adventure that lasts a lifetime.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Natalee has spent the past 10 years transforming Divers Cove into one of South Florida's most welcoming and community-focused PADI Dive Centers. Her vision has always been simple—to create the dive shop that dives, where customers become dive buddies, dive buddies become lifelong friends, and every adventure strengthens the community.

As a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, Natalee is passionate about helping divers continue their education long after earning their first certification. She believes learning never stops and that every course builds confidence, competence, and enjoyment underwater.

One belief sits at the heart of everything she does: Every diver should become a Rescue Diver.

That passion ultimately led her to found Rescue Diver Ready, a global preparedness movement dedicated to helping divers assess, improve, and maintain their readiness through education, technology, and community.

Her message is one she hopes every diver remembers:

"Don't Just Dive. Be Rescue Diver Ready."

Natalee also leads the Divers Cove Women's Dive Club, encouraging more women to discover scuba diving, build confidence, continue their education, and experience the friendships that make diving so rewarding. She believes the underwater world should be accessible and welcoming to everyone.

Another of Natalee's greatest passions is organizing and hosting international dive travel. Whether leading groups to the Maldives, the Red Sea, the Caribbean, or another bucket-list destination, she loves bringing divers together to explore the world's most incredible underwater environments. For Natalee, every trip is about more than the diving—it's about creating lifelong memories, sharing experiences, and strengthening the Divers Cove family.

She is equally passionate about ocean conservation, diver education, and helping every student become a safe, confident, and prepared diver. Nothing makes her prouder than watching students progress from their very first breath underwater to becoming experienced divers, Divemasters, instructors, and lifelong ambassadors for the sport.

Outside the dive center, Natalee's greatest joy is her family. She is a proud wife to Donovan and mother of two children, and she loves traveling the world with them, sharing adventures above and below the surface. Together, they continue to explore new destinations, proving that scuba diving isn't just a hobby—it's a way of life.

For Natalee, success isn't measured by the number of certifications issued—it's measured by the community that's been built, the confidence divers gain, and the lives that scuba diving continues to change.
