Joel Manresa's scuba journey began at Divers Cove, where he enrolled in the PADI Divemaster Program with a desire to deepen his diving knowledge and become a better diver. Along the way, he discovered something even more rewarding—a passion for sharing the incredible experience of scuba diving with others.

That passion led him to become a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, and today Joel is one of Divers Cove's most sought-after instructors. Students are drawn to his genuine enthusiasm, patient teaching style, and warm, friendly personality. His ability to make every student feel comfortable and confident often leads divers to request him for their next course as they continue their scuba journey.

Joel believes that scuba diving has the power to change lives, and he loves being there for one of the most memorable moments a person can experience—their first breath underwater. Whether he's teaching Open Water students or helping certified divers continue their education, Joel is committed to helping every diver become safe, confident, and excited for their next adventure.

Fluent in English, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese, Joel enjoys connecting with divers from around the world and making scuba diving accessible to people from many different backgrounds.

Outside the water, Joel is an adventurous person who enjoys staying active. He regularly runs with the Brickell Running Club, believing that fitness plays an important role in becoming a better diver. His favorite scuba equipment includes his trusted Atomic BC2 and Garmin Descent MK3i, gear he relies on during every dive.

When he's not underwater, Joel serves as the General Manager of a large landscaping company, bringing strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills to both his professional career and his role as an instructor. If you have a landscaping question, chances are Joel has the answer!
