Join Divers Cove on Saturday, December 19, 2026 for the third stop on our South Florida Wreck Trek as we head to Miami for dives on the DEMA Trader and Sheri-Lyn.

This trip features two wrecks in the approximately 80–110 foot range, making it a great fit for experienced recreational divers who hold an Advanced Open Water certification or higher.

The DEMA Trader and Sheri-Lyn give divers the chance to expand their wreck-diving experience while exploring a different part of South Florida with the Divers Cove community.

Part of the South Florida Wreck Trek

The DEMA Trader and Sheri-Lyn trip is part of the Divers Cove South Florida Wreck Trek.

There is no membership fee or entry fee. Join the dives that interest you and register for each trip individually.

You can participate in one wreck dive, several throughout the year, or challenge yourself to complete the full series.

Who Can Join?

This trip is intended for divers who:

• Hold an Advanced Open Water certification or higher
• Are comfortable with deeper recreational diving
• Have appropriate recent diving experience
• Bring the required equipment
• Meet all charter requirements

If you are currently Open Water certified and want to participate in this and other deeper Wreck Trek dives, ask Divers Cove about completing your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course.

Nitrox Recommended

Because of the deeper dive profiles, Enriched Air Nitrox is a valuable certification for many Wreck Trek divers.

If you are Nitrox certified, ask about availability for this trip. If not, Divers Cove can help you complete the PADI Enriched Air Diver course before the dive.

What to Bring

Divers should bring appropriate equipment for the planned dives, including:

• BCD
• Regulator
• Dive computer
• Mask and fins
• Appropriate exposure protection
• Surface marker buoy
• Reel or spool
• Cutting device

Rental equipment may be available through Divers Cove with advance reservation.

All ocean dives are subject to weather, current, sea conditions, and charter operations. Dive-site selection may change if conditions require it.
