Bea Sahagun I PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor
Sometimes all it takes is one dive to change your life.
For Bea, that moment came when her best friend surprised her with a scuba diving course five years ago. From her very first breath underwater, she knew she had found something special. What began as a thoughtful gift quickly became a lifelong passion and eventually a career dedicated to helping others discover the underwater world.
Bea has been a valued member of the Divers Cove team for more than three years. She began her professional journey as a PADI Divemaster before earning her certification as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. Today, one of her greatest joys is introducing new divers to scuba diving and watching students build confidence as they develop new skills and experience the magic of breathing underwater for the first time.
When she's not teaching, Bea is always dreaming about her next dive adventure. She loves traveling to destinations around the world in search of unforgettable encounters with whale sharks, reef sharks, and other incredible marine life. Her passion for the ocean extends beyond diving, and she has an impressive knowledge of fish and marine ecosystems that she loves sharing with students.
Outside of scuba diving, Bea works at a veterinary clinic, where she cares for animals with the same compassion and dedication she brings to every dive class. Her love for both marine life and animals is a big part of who she is.
Above all, Bea is a proud mom to her son, Cruz, balancing family, her career, and her passion for diving with endless energy and a positive attitude.
Whether you're taking your very first scuba course or continuing your diving education, Bea's patience, encouragement, and enthusiasm help create a fun, supportive learning environment that students remember long after they earn their certification.
