May 15th: Lauderdale-By-The-Sea Beach & Dive Clean Up

Project AWARE’s flagship citizen-science program, Dive Against Debris®, empowers scuba divers to remove marine debris from the ocean and report data on the types, quantities, and locations of materials collected. To learn more about Dive Against Debris call Divers Cove at (954) 473-1220 or visit https://www.projectaware.org/diveagainstdebris

This beach clean up will be at Lauderdale-By-The-Sea!!!
The Lauderdale-By-the-Sea beach dive is one of the most visited dive sites in Broward County! This natural reef involves the shortest surface swim in the county, at only 100 yards from the beach. There’s a reason why Broward County declared Lauderdale-By-The-Sea the “Shore Dive Capital of South Florida” in 1997.
