Just South of the Jax are the Dania Beach Seatech Ledges. One of Fort Lauderdale's amazing reefs. Enter the water from the middle of the parking lot and swim east for about 1,800 feet. This will bring you to the ledge which runs north-south. 

There is a long surface swim, about two pier lengths, so be prepared for a lot of kicking!

This is a lobster night hunting dive. Make sure to have at least 2 dive lights.
